Anyone who’s been to Whistler during the Summer knows there's no shortage of things to do, so we’ve rounded up some of our favourite experiences you can take in during the Wanderlust Whistler Weekend.

Check out this awesome video that was made by our Luminary Michelle Harrison when she attended a couple years ago:

1. SUP Yoga

Take your yoga practice to the next level while being immersed in the natural beauty of Whistler’s Lost Lake.SUP Yoga combines stand up paddling with yoga, allowing you topractice in rhythm with the water and flow through yoga poses on your moving mat. Challenge your balance, and strengthen your connection to mother Earth with this total body strengthening flow on the water.

2. Go for a dip in Lost Lake

Lost Lake is a small lake within walking distance of Whistler Village, surrounded by trails for hiking and biking. It’s also one of the most popular lakes in the area with a beach area perfect for picnicking, BBQing, beach sports or to just stop by for a cool dip between classes.

4. Connect at the Farm to Table Dinner

Each year Wanderlust Whistler puts on their Farm to Table Dinner, featuring fare from local chefs in a seated, multi-course meal prepared family style. In this experience you’ll enjoy live music, the company of other yogis, and traditional and innovative dishes all sourced from the local region.

5. Unwind at the Scandinavian Spa

The Scandinave Spa in Whistler is a traditional Scandinavian bath house experience- and in our opinion, the best way to unwind after a full day of vinyasa classes! The spa is situated on the edge of the Lost Lake Park in one of Whistler’s most scenic settings. Their signature bath experience has guests go from a hot sauna or steam and then into a cold plunge pool or Nordic waterfall, the last step is to relax in a solarium, in a hammock or by the outdoor fireplaces. It’s recommended to be repeated 3 times, for extra pampering pair with a massage.

7. Experience the Barefoot Bistro Ice Room

The Barefoot Bistro Vodka Tasting is a unique and fun way to let your hair down after a long day of classes and workshops. At -32C The Ketel One Ice Room is the world’s coldest vodka tasting room and a unique one of a kind unique experience only available in Whistler. Guest’s are wrapped in arctic parkas while a vodka expert talks you through how the intricacies of distillation and filtration affect the flavour profile of the finished product. Plus the extreme frozen environment enhances the flavour while minimizing the alcohol effects. Each tasting includes samples of 4 different vodkas.

8. Eat at the Green Moustache

The Green Moustache Organic Café is the perfect place to refuel in between classes and is Whistler’s top rated vegetarian restaurant. They serve up a variety of 100% organic and vegetarian salads, wraps,  juices and smoothies.
