For a great many people, the ultimate goal in life is to be happy. If you’re one of them, then you might have to make an effort to be happy no matter the circumstances. Life can try to wreck and burn you, but if you can try to find the silver lining on each rain cloud, then no one can take that happiness away from you. A solid morning practice can not only help jumpstart your day, but also boost your happiness. Check out the following 12 tips and poses to ensure your day is full of pure joy:

  • Happiness is your birthright, so claim it.
    You can either lose yourself to fear and negativity or strive to find happiness and positivity in each situation. Be the kind of person who chooses what you become and make the most out of the cards you’ve been dealt with. Don’t just exist, live.
  • Create your own happiness.
    Dealing with people can be an arduous task, but it’s something you have to do. Don’t depend on people to make you happy. You can’t change other people, but you can change your attitude towards them. You create your own happiness, and you are the only one truly responsible for it.

    One way to be intentional in finding happiness is through yoga. Studies have shown that yoga is not only the path to enlightenment, but to happiness as well. Yoga has been known to reduce stress, ease anxiety, and lighten mood. Check out these exciting yoga poses to give yourself that positive boost of energy at the start of each day:
