Holiday Return/Exchanges Policy:

You will have until January 31, 2017 to initiate any returns or exchanges for items purchased from now until Dec 31, 2016. Items must be received by January 31st in order to be considered.

We are not able to accept returns for items purchased through 3rd party retailers, Amazon, studios or stores. We recommend initiating a return with the retailer you purchased them from. They should be able to help you further.

Holiday Ordering Deadlines:

Please keep these deadlines in mind when purchasing for Christmas delivery. With any third party service, we cannot guarantee you will receive the item by the 25th (depending on your location), but ordering before these dates will give you the best chance of beating the holiday postal rush.

  • What is your return policy?

  • If your item arrives in a damaged condition or if you are unhappy with it for any reason, you will have 30 days to return the item for a full refund, less S&H. This also applies to sale items. If you need to exchange for another size or design, you can send the item to:

    Any item purchased at an event or festival is FINAL SALE and non-refundable, non-returnable, unless the item is defective. We offer special sale pricing for events, so we thank you for your understanding on this policy! We cannot honour festival pricing for our online items. :

  • I found a seam issue. What do I do?

  • Our items are all made in Vancouver, BC and we stand by our quality promise. If you find that there are any seam issues or structural defects within the first 6 months of purchase, please email us a photo of the defect at orders@myinnerfire.com. If the item is repairable, please follow the exchange procedure and send the item with a short note explaining your request. If the item clearly has a structural flaw, we will send you a new item free of charge. The old one will be yours to keep.

ORDERING

  • I just placed an order. Can I edit or add another item to it?

  • Unfortunately, we cannot add to or modify an existing order. You will have to place a new order. However, we can refund the shipping charge on the second package and package the items into one shipment. Please contact orders@myinnerfire.com to make this request.
  • I need to change or cancel my order. How can I do that?

  • If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately at orders@myinnerfire.com. All orders that have been canceled before being processed/shipped will be refunded to your credit card. We are not able to cancel an order after it has already been processed/shipped. We can refund you after the order has been returned back to us.
  • Can I place an order over the phone?

  • How do I purchase a gift card?

  • Thank you for considering giving the gift of an Inner Fire Apparel Gift Card! You can purchase gift cards at www.myinnerfire.com/products/gift-card.
    Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees. Please note that we do not issue physical cards, out of respect for the environment. Thanks!
  • I just missed your sale! Will you honour a new purchase at the sale price?

  • We are always looking to align with like-minded yoga studios, boutiques and independent shops all over the world. To initiate the application process, you may apply via our wholesale inquiries page. After submitting this form, we will review your application and if approved, we will contact you as soon as possible.

SHIPPING

  • How long will my order take to process?

  • Orders can take anywhere from 1 day to 3 weeks to process (before shipping). We will notify you if your order will take longer than 2 weeks. If items are in stock, the order will go out on the next delivery day. We ship out a minimum of 3 times per week. We try to get orders out in less than a week but depending on the production cycle, certain items may take longer if they are still in production. We pride ourselves on our local, small batch production.

    If your order is time-sensitive, please email us at orders@myinnerfire.com and we can try to accommodate your request. Orders placed during the holidays may be subject to delays.
  • How much does shipping cost?

  • Orders with a subtotal over $150 after discounts will automatically be granted free untracked shipping. Orders less than $150 have shipping costs that range between $4.50-5.50 CAD per order in North America and $7.50 internationally. We try our very best to minimize the cost of shipping for our customers. North America tracked shipping costs between $15.00-18.00 CAD per order.
  • How long will shipping take? Is there a tracking number?

  • Items are shipped from Vancouver, BC. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has been shipped out. Canadian orders can take 3-10 business days to arrive and are sent via oversized letter mail or light packets.  US orders can take anywhere from 5-14 business days and are sent via light or small packets. International orders can take up to 3-6 weeks to arrive.

    The non-tracked option is the default shipping option (it is very reliable and keeps shipping costs low). However, you can opt to pay extra for tracking when you check out. This is only available to North American customers. If you do not opt for tracking, you will not have a tracking number. Tracked packages generally take about 1 week to arrive.

    If you refuse a shipment from Inner Fire, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Inner Fire. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. If the return fee exceeds the amount of the merchandise plus shipping costs, the package will be abandoned and you will not be refunded.
  • Do you ship internationally?

  • Yes, we ship worldwide from Vancouver, BC. Please note that international orders are subject to applicable customs and import fees.

    Shipping times can vary widely internationally. Delays are always possible. For international buyers, any additional tariffs, VATs, import fees, or similar, are the buyer's responsibility, upon the item's delivery. We are required by law to declare all items at their full price and cannot alter this amount to decrease international custom fees. Please be aware of your country's policies before you place your order.
  • I live in the BC Lower Mainland. Can I pick up my order?

  • Yes! You can opt to save the shipping and pick up your order from our New Westminster, BC office. Just choose “Local Pick-Up” as your shipping option. Please wait until you have received an email for us to make sure your order is ready before you come pick it up. Our hours are 9:30-5:30pm M-F. We are located at:

  • The tracking number says that my item was delivered, but I haven’t received it

  • If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered, but you have not received it, please call Canada Post or the associated carrier with the tracking number and file a claim with them. We will assist you if action is required on our end to make the claim. Note: we do not take responsibility for lost/missing packages that show successful delivery to the order address.
  • My package has not been delivered within the recommended time frame. What do I do?

  • Since we ship primarily without tracking, we must allow a reasonable amount of time for the postal service to deliver the item. Reasonable wait times are 3 weeks in Canada and 4-5 weeks outside of Canada.

    If the package still hasn't shown up, then we will look into each case individually. Sometimes it is due to an improper address, which means we have to wait until the item is returned to us before we can proceed. We will charge the shipping fee again if the customer's address was not properly given to us. We are not responsible if the item is lost due to theft, improper address, change of address or incomplete address. If all options are exhausted and the item still has not shown up, we will charge a replacement fee to send out a new item.
  • I typed in my address incorrectly and the shipment has already gone out. Can I redirect the package?

  • If you contact us within 4 hours of placing the order, we can usually catch the shipment and correct the shipping address before it goes out. If the item has already been shipped out, we cannot redirect any packages. The procedure is to wait until the package is returned to us, which can take several weeks. Charges may apply to re-ship the item to the correct address.

PRODUCT

  • Where do I find sizing information?

  • Each product listing has a ‘specs’ tab that specifies the dimensions of the garment. If you’re unsure, please email support@myinnerfire.com and we will be able to assist you. You can also email us a photo of yourself so that we can help you find the right size. For our leggings, we usually recommend that people go with the smaller size if they're deciding between two sizes. Over time, the leggings relax a little bit, so it's better to start out with the smaller size.
  • I want to purchase something that is out of stock! What can I do?

  • We re-stock styles when we can, so you can opt in on the product page to be alerted when an item is back in stock. However, all prints are limited, so we always recommend buying a favourite style while you can! All items tagged with a “Now or Never” icon will be discontinued and the remaining sizes are all that are left. We do release new designs twice per year, so please check back soon or sign up for out mailing list to be the first to know!
  • When is your new collection coming out?

  • How are your items made? Where are they made?

  • Our shirts are hand-printed in Vancouver, BC using low-impact water-based inks. Because of the eco-friendly nature of the inks, it's normal for them to fade a bit over time. It's better than putting harmful oil-based inks and chemicals down the sink! Our shirt blanks are ethically made in the US.

      Our leggings are made from 88% recycled polyester (derived from recycled plastic bottles) with 12% spandex and are made in small batches in Vancouver, BC.
  • When is your new collection coming out?

  • Is your recycled polyester BPA free?

  • Yes, all of our leggings, capris, shorts and graphic tanks offer SPF 50 protection.
  • Are your products vegan?

  • Our leggings are treated with Chitosante, a natural anti-microbial treatment that is produced from re-purposed crab and shrimp shells. These shells are recycled from the food industry, so nothing is killed to directly create the product. We understand that this still may not bode too well for strict vegans, but the other alternative to prolonging the life of the garment is to use harsh chemicals. This is the best eco-friendly alternative out there. The biomass has been tested for allergens and does not include any of the proteins that people are allergic to. It's totally safe for people with shellfish allergies.
  • How do I care for my Inner Fire clothing?

  • We recommend our garments be washed in cold water and hung to dry. Hand washing is best, but machine wash will not hurt them. Never iron! Our casual tanks and tees can be machine washed and dried on a cold or warm temperature setting. Over-washing will cause the water-based inks used on our screen printed tops to fade faster.
  • Will the legging fabric pill, bleed or fade?

  • We guarantee that our legging fabric is pill-resistant, bleed resistant and fade resistant. If you have any issues with the quality of your leggings, please send us an email at support@myinnerfire.com and we will assist you.
  • Can I swim in chlorine pools or the ocean in my leggings?

  • Yes, you can! Always be sure to rinse with cold water and use natural soap right after you get out of the water.
  • Do your leggings roll down?

  • Our leggings are made for movement, so we added a thin elastic at the top of our leggings so that they stay up when they should. The high waistband is slightly tapered to allow for a great fit that doesn’t dig in to your sides.
  • Can I collaborate with you on designs?

  • Although we normally don’t collaborate on our designs, we are definitely open to seeing that you do! Please email info@myinnerfire.com for collaboration inquiries.
  • Why don’t you make plus sizes?

  • We do recognize the lack of offerings out there for plus sizes beyond size 12. We are still a very small company so although each legging is pressed and sewn individually, they are unfortunately not cut one by one. They are cut in bulk layers and we have to adhere to the minimum cut quantities set by the factory. Right now the minimums required do not match the demand for sizes outside of our current offering. We are monitoring the demand for our latest size addition and if we see a demand for even more sizes, then we will consider adding more. That being said, our size 12's fit a 12-14 or even 12-16.

    For our screenprinted tanks and tees, we do offer a unisex option, which goes up to an XL. We are also exploring more options for our tops offering.
  • Do you make extra long leggings?

  • At this time, we only offer one length in the leggings and one length in the capris. We chose lengths that suit the majority of body types. We are still a small company, so it’s beyond our production capacity to add a tall option for our leggings.
  • Can I sweat in your leggings?

  • Yes! We have tested our leggings in hot yoga studios and in humid environments. Our fabric is moisture wicking and breathable. Depending on how much fabric you like to wear in hot environments, you can try our Soul Shorts if you’re looking for an option with less fabric.
  • Do you do custom screen printing?

  • Unfortunately, due to the time spent printing our own designs, we do not offer custom screen printing services. We cannot add to or do any custom logos on any of our designs.

  • Do you have your own store?

  • Although we don’t have our own official store, we do have many retailers that carry our product. Please check our retailers listing at www.myinnerfire.com/pages/store-locator. We are not able to track inventory for our retailers, so if there is something specific you’re looking for, we recommend contacting the retailer before making a visit.

    Note: Google Maps lists one of our old pop up shops in Vancouver (Giving Gifts and Company) as our store. They do carry some of our product still, but a better option for local buyers would be to make an appointment to shop our studio/office. Please email orders@myinnerfire.com to set up an appointment to shop our shelves (M-F 9:30-5:30pm). Our printed tops are made to order, so we have a limited selection of those, but we do have our roster of leggings on hand. We accept credit cards only, as we do not carry cash on our premises.
